Maxwell Stephens’ client, one of the largest and most respected bodies in the UK, is recruiting this role tasked with ensuring that the correct strategy, planning, and resources are in place to ensure a safe, secure, and high-quality environment within its central London Grade II* listed premises.

Our client’s building houses an auditorium with an exhibition area, multiple meetings rooms, private dining rooms, examination suites, study-bedrooms, and a celebrated state room with a rooftop terrace.

Maxwell Stephens, the UK’s leading facilities management recruitment company, have been appointed by the client to find an experienced and commercially-minded FM professional who will make sure that the client’s facilities are managed safely and in a cost-effective manner within the necessary statutory requirements.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll see to it that our client’s trading subsidiary and commercial partner can maximise revenue from the many world-class spaces that are available for third parties to hire.

There is a particular focus on providing catering and meeting room services that you will oversee, manage, and lead.

You will also be the client’s property and facilities management professional lead on relevant HS2 developments in England.

About you

Educated to Masters standard in an architecture, building, engineering, FM, project management, surveying, or similar field with an appropriate post-graduate or professional qualification, you have operated at a senior level in Properties and Estate in complex organisations (commercial, public, or third sector).

You have a flexible working style and a proven record of delivering and meeting the commercial needs and expectations of clients. You can demonstrate from your previous roles success in leading complex negotiations and building strategic vision. You’re able to proficiently maintain multiple competing corporate projects at the same time.
