We have pleasure in being asked to find the ideal candidate to fill the role of Area Cleaning Manager to work direct for an incredible globally recognised retail company.

  • Setting direction and visionary leadership
  • Seasoned senior manager of a large 24/7 team
  • Cleaning background in similarly high calibre environment
  • Experience of managing a large budget
  • Needs to understand facilities and building maintenance and the expectations of a fast-paced, demanding and high-end environment

  • Cool under pressure to professionally handle any customer or staff issues
  • Experience of discipline and grievance procedures
  • Experience of dealing with sickness and absence issues

What Experience Are We Looking For?

  • Hotels, B&I, Retail, Venues, Hospitals, Schools or Museums
  • Management of a similar size and quality of service on either client side or outsourced service provider
  • Management of outsourced cleaning contracts
  • Delivery of high standards of cleanliness

What Will You Be Expected To Deliver?

  • Learning the operation and layout of Store
  • Stakeholder management and good relationships
  • Successfully run operation unsupervised
  • Notable improvement in cleanliness of the store
  • Taking steps to more effectively manage sickness and absence

Working Arrangements

  • Shifts: 07:00 – 16:30 / 10:30 – 20:00 / 11.30 – 21:00
  • 1 in 3 weekends (rota days applied)
  • Some early / some late
  • Weighted to PM shift
  • Working on Bank Holidays and Christmas Period will be required
