We are looking for a proactive person who is experienced in delivering a customer focused approach to office and facilities management for our Media client.

Headquartered in London where they occupy corporate office space.

The ideal candidate will; be a great communicator, level headed, understand how to limit the impact the offices have on the environment, be used to managing budgets across a number of areas, comfortable planning small scale refurb projects, have meticulous attention to detail and be a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and requires very little supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring facilities meet government regulations in terms of environmental, health and safety
  • Manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
  • Become the escalation point for day to day facilities issues
  • Appoint and manage suppliers (including, postage, couriers, cleaning, refreshments, maintenance and small fit out works)
  • Landlord management, including issue escalation and planning of landlord works
  • Office capacity planning and co-ordination of desk moves (both singular and large scale)
  • Identify and eliminate common facilities issues
  • Oversee both day and evening cleaner teams
  • Ensure floor checks are conducted and recorded
  • Invoice checking and approval
  • Recommendation and delivery of ways to improve the energy efficiency within the office
  • To represent our client in a professional manner at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Experience of facilities management
  • Experience in office management
  • Previously managed a range of suppliers
  • Knowledge of relevant UK legislation
  • The ability to review existing processes and deliver improvements as necessary
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communicator
  • To work calmly under pressure
  • Proven ability in delivering a high standard of customer care
  • Demonstrate core values
