Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Interim Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of effective Hard Services and Fabric Maintenance across designated buildings.

About you

For this role you will have a HND/HNC in Building services, relevant professional qualifications accompanied with relevant experience, you will also have a NEBOSH qualification.

You have a thorough understanding of health and safety legalisations.

For this role you will be organised and able to work collaboratively successfully with staff at all levels, this will require you to have good communication skills which will also allow you to motivate and lead teams.

This role will require you to have a DBS check and certificate.

Your Responsibilities

This role will see you have the central responsibilities that see you ensuring the full compliance of H&S legalisation by the team and that all repairs are carried out while making sure these are done while getting value for money.

You will work collaboratively with teams to ensure that a one team approach is adopted and that there is a continual high standard of customer service. You will use you knowledge of working in a team to help in the upskilling of team members.

For this role you will provide a monthly report to the Head of Asset Maintenance while supporting them to develop and implement a Business Continuity and Risk Mitigation Plan.

Day to day your responsibilities will include:

• Managing staff performance while maintaining morale
• Carrying out regular inspections on premises, to report any defects and arrange any work that needs to be carried out
• Drive the usage of the CAFM system
• Support the Operations Managers and attend meetings as necessary
