Queen Mary, University of London is seeking to recruit a Facilities Manager to play a key role within the University’s Estates and Facilities Directorate.

As part of the University’s ambitious Strategy 2030, extensive focus will be placed on enhancing, growing, and better utilising its estate portfolio to create a physical environment that supports our position as an inclusive, world-class university. To support this commitment, we are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to lead in strategic delivery of the Facilities Management service across the Queen Mary UK portfolio.
About the Role
The Facilities Manager role is part of the Operations section of the Estates & Facilities Directorate. The role is responsible for providing a number of customer focused services to provide a clean and safe working environment that supports teaching, learning and revenue generating activities at Queen Mary, University of London.
The post holder is accountable for the overall delivery of Facilities Management operations in line with the strategic plan. They will lead the delivery of a high quality, customer focused Facilities Management service which includes, residential and non-residential cleaning, waste management, porterage and postal services, and grounds management.
The Facilities Manager will support the two Operations Managers of the Directorate to continually develop effective, value for money services to Queen Mary University of London’s students, staff and visitors.
The Facilities Manager will ensure all statutory obligations with regard to FM services are met in full and provide accurate management information and performance analysis of the services.
