Head of Dispatch
Back to Vacancies ListMaxwell Stephens has been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Head of Dispatch. You will lead the Web & Postal Unit to deliver high quality services.
You will have financial responsibility for the department and ensure that the processes are in place to deliver against current and future data collection requirements.
About You
You have experience in managing in a Dispatch/ Warehouse environment.
You have a strong management skills with the ability to lead a team which will help you use your communication skills to develop stakeholder relationships.
You work well under pressure and can manage tight deadlines while still maintaining a positive working culture.
Your Responsibilities
Day to day you will have serval key tasks which include
- Leading a team of 10 staff as well as a pool of freelance workers.
- Logging all incidents, errors and feedback.
- You will control stock.
You will build an effective supply chain while owning the relationship with those suppliers and making sure that you are getting the best value from them.
As well as this you will lead the delivery team ss it makes a step change in the nature, quality and proactivity of its work while ensuring that all existing project commitments are fulfilled.
You will use your robust understanding of supplier management on a daily basis to manage third party printing, incentives and storage suppliers.
