Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of an education establishment for an Estate Facilities Site Lead Supervisor role.

Your Role

You will undertake maintenance repairs and compliance activities to the building/sites and assist in the management of the heating, air conditioning and other ventilation and water equipment.

You will assist in checking operations, safety and operation and respond to emergencies and make investigations and find solution to loss of gas, electrical power etc.

You will carry out painting and decorating to both internal and external parts of the building/ sites, undertake caretaking and other housekeeping duties, monitor and update the Estates Service Desk, and carry out tests and checks to fire alarm systems, firefighting equipment and emergency lighting.

You will ensure that the premises are maintained to a safe standard and act to support all matters relating to the security of the sites.

Skills and Experience

You will have experience of boilers and other plant room equipment coupled with knowledge of electrical circuits and distribution systems.

You will be skilled in decorating, carpentry and plumbing repairs and maintenance, and have the ability to work in accordance with the College’s health and safety procedures.

You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and are able communicate in a calm and professional manner with students, staff and visitors at all level.

You will have a Health and Safety Qualification level 2 or be willing to complete this as part of your professional development.
