Maxwell Stephens has been asked to recruit on behalf of The University of Cambridge for the role of Engineering M&E Manager who will report to the Head of Programme Management Office.

This is a strategically important role, and you will independently be required to review, improve, test and update the M&E systems.

About You

 For this role you may have experience in the development of M&E engineering strategies.

As well as this you will have commercial awareness alongside a solid knowledge of construction forms and procedures, this includes on health and safety.

You have a high level of influencing skills and can communicate effectively both internally and externally.

You are also able to manage a workload as well as prioritising this.


Your Responsibilities

As part of this role you will consult with members of the Projects Section, Representative Users/Departmental Technical Liaison Officers, Health and Safety Division and M&E supply chains to understand the range of M&E requirements and issues.

As part of this role you will be required to independently review, improve, test and update the M&E design sections.

Using your communication skills you will consult with the Facilities Section and Departments with maintenance responsibilities to understand their requirements.

As well as this you will examine business planning and end-to-end and life-cycle objectives and develop M&E strategies to deliver these.
