Property Procurement Manager
Back to Vacancies ListMaxwell Stephens has been asked by the client to recruit for the role of Property Procurement Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing the overall procurement within property category.
This role will include:
- Identifying strategic category
- Aligning them to the organisation’s business objectives
- Developing an overall category management framework
About You
You will have or be working towards a CIPS qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
You will be able to negotiate, influence and communicate all to a high level.
This will enable you to work well with stakeholders internally and externally.
You will have five years’ business management, with an additional five years’ management experience in procurement, property, operations, or a related field.
Alongside this you have an in-depth knowledge of modern procurement techniques and approaches, including strategic cost management principles and strategic category management process knowledge is essential.
Key Responsibilities
As part of this role you will manage and deliver property, construction & estates related procurement projects, delivering savings & added value benefits.
You will monitor the over-arching Property market, and key market suppliers in terms of performance and stability, highlighting and tracking risks where appropriate.
As well as this you will benchmark opportunities to shape thinking on improvement possibilities for the future.
This role will see you assist stakeholders to categorises suppliers according to future fit with business objectives.
As well as this you will manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) opportunities and ensures these are incorporated within the Procurement Property plan.
You will lead (and assist where required) on complex, strategic, contractual and commercial negotiations on the Property category, maximising value for money for the Firm.
