Overview
The Campus Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance activities across the campus, to provide a healthy, comfortable and safe working environment for all staff, students and visitors.
The post holder is expected to work closely with all professional staff within Estates and Facilities, to contribute to the implementation of the University’s Estates Strategy, operating procedures and service level agreements.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the post holder will directly line manage an in house reactive maintenance team.
In addition significant maintenance contracts are in place and the effective management of these contracts is a significant part of the duties.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in managing and delivering a high quality, compliant maintenance function.
The successful candidate will be professionally qualified to incorporated engineer standard or equivalent in an Engineering or Building related discipline.
The post is full time and permanent. The salary range for this post is £48,035 – £53,625 + market supplement per annum, plus a benefits package which includes 30 days annual leave, a pension scheme and an interest-free season ticket loan after a qualifying period.
