You will liaise with a variety of key business teams to ensure the company applies best practice in energy. As well as this you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategy and projects to reduce carbon and energy use.
About You
You have a relevant Environmental or Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles.
You are a Certified Energy Manager or similar (or working towards this).
Having a knowledge of EPCs, ESOS, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, BREEAM, LEED is essential to this role.
Alongside all of this you have experience managing energy in complex organisations across a number of sites.
You excellent communication skills have given you the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stake holders, bringing teams together to drive change.
As well as this you have experience in undertaking ASHRAE/CIBSE energy assessments and reports.
You are highly organized and responsive, with ability to deliver under pressure as well as this you have a willingness to learn which comes from your motivation and driven attitude.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will monitor the energy and carbon sector and develop benchmarks and readily available industry data to identify good and best practice and potential opportunities for our client to reduce energy and carbon emissions.
As well as this you will identify from data and site surveys, energy saving projects, including robust business cases around investment and presenting these to key stakeholders.
You will maintain a pipeline of environmental savings initiatives for continuous improvement.
As required you will carry out desk-based energy surveys. As well as hold engagement calls/forums globally where required.
This role will see you work with the wider team to identify new projects and continually review existing processes to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
In this role you will liaise and negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and other relevant organisations to achieve our client’s goals.
You will liaise with and provide technical support to mechanical and electrical design engineers on new and refurbishment projects regarding sustainability, energy and water conservation.
