Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Health and Safety Compliance Manager for an educational trust, Future Academies

They are looking for someone to provide health and safety expertise to drive the implementation of the Trusts H&S Policy. While building a culture of health and safety through staff engagement and training.

 

 

 

About You

 For this role you will have a relevant qualification from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or similar.

Alongside this you have the knowledge and skills to offer sound and reliable professional advice. This comes from your experience of managing H&S in the public or private sector.

You have excellent skills in evaluating and documenting risk assessments and in devising policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

As well as all of this you are a trusted team player who has an enthusiastic outlook with the drive and determination to succeed.

 

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will monitor and report on KPIs.

As well as this you will update and implement the Trust H&S Policy.

You will work with the Trust’s external H&S advisors to undertake routine monitoring audits and inspections.

You will be instrumental and pro-active in developing H&S related policies, procedures and risk assessment s across the trust.

As well as this you will undertake professional development to continuously to evolve the Trust’s understanding of H&S related issues as they evolve (for example, COVID).

In this role you will lead on appropriate H&S issues and accident/incident investigations.
