As a Group Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in the Central Management Team, ensuring that our company is able to achieve its strategic long-term business objectives. You will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial and residential property, as well as the planning and execution of specific projects. You will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in line with agreed deadlines and budgets.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work effectively both on their own initiative and as part of a wider team. Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing an annual planned and preventative maintenance schedule

Ensuring that buildings meet health and safety requirements and comply with legislation.

Sourcing and managing contractors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, and good technical knowledge (including construction, heating, plant rooms, and lighting). Financial planning and budgeting experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a “get things done” attitude are also required.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), flexible working location options, and opportunities for training and development.
