Are you an experienced facilities and campus management professional with a passion for leading teams and developing policies and strategies to deliver excellence in research and teaching?
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Estates to join our clients team.
As the Assistant Director of Estates, you will lead the development of our clients Facilities and Campus Management, Security, Maintenance and Print teams, while developing policies and strategies to ensure that the estate and supporting services are fit for purpose and meet the needs of their stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of services that are compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements, while maintaining high levels of customer service and improving the student and staff experience.
The successful candidate will have a relevant first degree and experience, along with excellent financial planning and budget management skills. You will have a proven track record of team leadership and the ability to negotiate effective contractual terms for maintenance, services and consultancy agreements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex information for a variety of audiences and stakeholders will also be essential.
