Join our client’s team as a Facilities Assistant and play a crucial role in creating a safe, secure, and efficient work environment.
Initially employed temporarily this role may lead to future opportunities.
This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Based in London and reporting to the Head of Estates and Facilities, you will be part of our client’s Central Services team.
As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll have the chance to put your health and safety knowledge, basic IT skills, and experience working with contractors and suppliers to the test. You will be organised, able to plan your workload, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Communication is key in this role, so we’re looking for someone who is approachable, professional, and able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities will include carrying out maintenance activities, coordinating meeting rooms, monitoring and ordering stationery supplies, and ensuring a safe and secure building environment. You’ll also be responsible for logging and reporting any issues related to equipment, furniture, and consumables. And, as a key holder, you’ll be opening the building, ensuring it’s in full working order at all times.
