Our client are a leading media organisation. They are now looking for a temp Facilities Coordinator/Assistant to cover their existing assistant from August 21st to September 24th – This period may be extended.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of several support departments.
The role is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of key areas within the business and to ensure that the office and all facilities are maintained to a satisfactory standard and to regularly assist the Facilities Manager review supplier contracts to ensure service level agreements are adhered to and that we get a quality and cost-effective service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement new processes to ensure facilities run smoothly and efficiently.
Reporting into the Facilities Manager the role will also include occasional support to other senior members of staff.
Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be an excellent multi-tasker. Whilst facilities duties will be fairly standard, the administration will be varied and the candidate will need to be able to adapt to a fast changing environment and be comfortable juggling different priorities.
Duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Health & Safety
- Building Matters
- Cleaning – Management of office
- Offsite Storage
- Office Equipment
- Office seating
The Successful Applicant will be/have:
- Excellent accuracy of all work and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- A general knowledge of the management of Health and Safety (and/or attendance on H&S courses preferred not required)
- Good relationship building and communication skills
- Experience in an environment where accuracy and confidentiality are paramount
