Our client are a leader in their industry and have an opportunity for an exceptional Interim Facilities Manager to be based at their HQ in London. The Facilities Manager will have primary responsibility for managing the day to day facilities of their HQ, ensuring the building is a safe environment to work within alongside taking a lead role in a planned office relocation.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who understands the complexity of working within a matrix environment developing successful relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

Duties

  • Office Maintenance. To include repairs, service contracts, general upkeep, cleaning contracts, security and utilities. Implement all services at new office
  • Line manage reception staff, and review Reception services at new office
  • Purchasing. Including negotiation of contracts and suppliers, annual reviews with suppliers and furniture purchasing
  • Provide support for the physical relocation from old to new building, and plan and carry out any other internal office moves,
  • Lead on Health and Safety and perform health and safety inductions for all new staff
  • Meeting room set up – AV equipment
  • Manage the building budget
