Electrical Services Manager
Back to Vacancies ListYou will be part of a services division of a long established organisation. You will act as the senior manager responsible for all aspects of matters pertaining to Electrical Services for the operations as part of a Healthcare PFI contract. The Electrical Services Manager forms part of the Operational Management Team responsible for the future direction and development of the contract. You will head up a technical team of 12 working across the contract.
The role:
- Will act as an Authorised Person or other designated role in support of contract operations
- Health & Safety attributable to Electrical Services
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all matters pertaining to HV/MV/LV electrical systems and infrastructure
- Ensuring the effective provision of all electrical services to ensure availability at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Hard FM Contract, statute and industry best practice
- Develop and maintain an electrical maintenance strategy based on Asset
Management principles - Technical and business evaluation of maintenance opportunities
- Manage the planning, governance and execution of shutdowns
- Effective budget and cost control
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff, acting as the Supplier Relationship Manager for all Electrical Services Subcontracts
Desired skills / Experience
- Ideally from a Healthcare Environment
- Hard FM Operational experience
- HV AP
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or
- Electrical Technical knowledge time served or Chartered Electrical Engineer
- Asset Management knowledge and capability to implement this knowledge
- Positive attitude
- Able to work in high pressured and fast moving environments
- Effective communication skills
