This role is based within a unique prestige development in Glasgow. Our client are looking for someone who is able to drive forward a highly customer focused proposition for the development.

The individual will be required to manage the service charge, Health and Safety compliance, Presentation of property & Contractor management. The person must have previous experience of multi-occupied properties. A strong understanding of service charge management in both budgeting and invoice management. A knowledge of contract management is also essential. Due to the current condition of the property and future planned works a knowledge of M&E services is also desirable

The core areas requiring an improved customer experience are the multi-let properties.

The role of Building Manager is a role in-itself that is not recruited elsewhere within the organisation unless based at one of their most prestigious properties. The key responsibilities and tasks of both the role and the companies’ duties with respect to the building are to manage it on behalf of the landlord and take responsibilities for the common areas.

Your responsibilities in the role to carry out your duties would be to oversee all aspects of the Facilities and Building management. This would include but is not limited to contract management, client relationship management, tenant and supplier relationship management, commercial management, financial acumen and HSE responsibility.

It would be helpful if you have demonstrable experience of five keys areas of competence, these include: Health & Safety, Budget Management, People Management, Contractor Management and Awareness of Maintenance (Both planned and reactive maintenance) as well as the strategic leadership skills.

This is an excellent position that requires an individual with exceptionally high standards and the ability to deliver a 5 starservice at all times. Previous experience of prestigious multi-tenanted site is a definite advantage, however the service charge / budget management experience is one which the company are prepared to offer training and development within: therefore if you are a candidate with good, all round FM skills (both hard and soft) whom fancies working for a global player in Building Property Management then do not hesitate to get in contact.
