In this exciting role, you will assist your more senior colleagues in the delivery of all services relating to the operational management of premises that the company manages.
Under direction from senior management, advance good client relations with appropriate occupier representatives and propagate open communication and flow of information on building issues.
The successful candidate will be a facilities / building manager possessing a sound knowledge of commercial Facilities Management and/or Building Management. It would be helpful if your experience included 5 main areas of competence:
- General Contractor Management (Property Maintenance and Facilities Management)
- Health & Safety Knowledge ensuring compliance
- Engineering / Technical Understanding – an awareness of PPM processes and permits
- Budget control
- People & Customer Service Skills
You will need to be a first class communicator, being able to demonstrate exceptional customer and client facing skills, to liaise with the clients and building occupiers ensuring a good level of service is maintained. You will also need to be highly organised, flexible with sound IT skills.
In an ideal world, you will be degree qualified with some further building or FM related certifications with an IOSH or NEBOSH.
