Our client are a successful independent property consultancy and due to their success, they are now looking to appoint an experienced centre manager to take responsibility across three sites in the Manchester area.

Such a person is expected to deliver sound, operationally well organised and economically competitive services for commercial occupiers whilst upholding the investment value of owners’ property assets.

You will be working closely with the store managers, therefore a proactive and confident approach is essential. You’ll play an important role in providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment. The varied role will include managing the three centres and their facilities; dealing with emergencies and helping customers access other services as the need arises. You will also be actively involved in the development and delivery of the year end accounts and service charge budget. You will be responsible for undertaking site inspections and provide an in-depth report to the Associate Director and therefore prior experience in creating report procedures is essential.

You will be a self-motivated and proactive person already equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, setting high standards throughout; aiming at all times for continuous improvement. You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. You will be commercially aware with sound financial experience in the management of Budgets and Service Charges with the ability to gain the respect of key stakeholders. Strong organisation and planning abilities are required.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished Centre Manager possessing a strong knowledge of Retail Management and current H&S legislation ideally possessing an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate, be TRAMPS trained and hold current membership of a relevant trade body. Previous experience of successfully managing similar centres would be beneficial combined with extensive experience of delivering high levels of customer service.

A full driving licence and the use of your own car is essential.
