Maxwell Stephens have been asked to recruit on behalf of the client for the role of Facilities Management Technician.

In this role you will work in conjunction with both the Centre Management Team and Facilities Management to promote good customer relationships and too provide a positive experience within the building. At the same time you will be contributing towards the Customer Journey within the properties.

About You

You have relevant building maintenance experience as well as a knowledge of building engineering systems.

You are motivated to meet targets and learn new internal systems.

As a self-motivated individual you are able to work independently and your personable manner and communication skills enable you to work successfully as a team as well as in this customer service focused role.

You have a strong knowledge of Health and Safety and are familiar with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 which enables you to identify hazards and understand fire safety procedures.

Your Responsibilities

In this role there are serval key responsibilities that your will undertake.

Your ‘Get it Done’ mentality and proactive mindset will help you in resolving problems quickly and efficiently as well as this you will carry out first fix repairs where it is possible to do so.

You will liaise with the FM on visits by service contractors.

As part of this role you will contribute to business waste and recycling objectives by regularly monitoring this and feeding back to the FM as required.

As well as this you carry out weekly safety and operation checks for items sure as lift auto-diallers and panic alarms, this will contribute to you assisting in the Health and Safety Management strategy. You too will wear PPE where necessary in this role.

You will attend any relevant training sessions when necessary.
