Maxwell Stephens are delighted to have been asked by the client to recruit on their behalf for the role of Director of Safety.

They are looking for a competent individual to develop and lead a strategic and proactive UK approach to the global safety policies.

About You

For this role you will have a charted membership of a professional safety institution such as IOSH.

As well as this you have 15 years’ experience in a senior role in the environmental, industrial hygiene or safety industry.

You are an organised induvial who can navigate complex organisation across a portfolio of large assets.

In this role you will demonstrate you ability to be sensitive to cultural issues in work environments.

As well as all of this you have a thorough understanding of UK safety, health and environment legislation and statutory compliance.

Your Responsibilities

In this role they are looking for someone who will manage, promote and be responsible for an efficient safety, health and environment strategy.

As well as this you will be the ‘Internal Audit; lead from the perspective of safety, health and environment for the Company in the UK.

This role you will see you assist the Regional Senior Team in achieving the development of corporate standards while applying and implementing policies across the portfolio.
