Our client, a successful dynamic organisation is seeking to appoint a Head of Facilities and Security to lead the delivery of a safe, efficient and effective Facilities management service and to join their Senior Management Team.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right candidate to take a lead role in moving the service forward and to be responsible for the daily running of the organisation’s hard and soft services in a warehousing environment with responsibility for Maintenance, Grounds and Minor Works, Security and CCTV, Cleaning, Waste & Recycling and Reception.
You will also take ownership to manage and control assets including producing and maintaining a planned maintenance schedule/plan record and ensuring health & safety compliancy.
Our client operate in the distribution / manufacturing sector so comparable experience in a similar environment would be preferred but is not essential.
Qualifications and experience required
- BIFM Level 4 or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years-experience in a similar managerial role
- Comparable experience of managing warehousing buildings
- Contractor management
- Budget management
- IOSH or NEBOSH or Health and Safety experience
- Change management
- People management
