Our client is a globally recognised organisation whom is based in a large listed building in West London.

The facilities on site include: a plethora of lecture theatres, education facilities and meeting and presentation rooms. The building also houses on site staff. A number of tenant organisations also rent space and there is a substantial garden and terrace.

Our client is seeking to appoint a professional, experienced and well organised Facilities Manager as a senior interim position for six months.

This is a challenging, interesting and rewarding change management position at the heart of this well established and well known organisation. Having recently taken the opportunity to create a separate facilities team our client seeks to put in place the necessary systems and procedures to underpin the smooth future management of its facilities, and for the support of organised events. The premises are a combination of older listed buildings and new build.

We seek a calm, well qualified and hardworking individual to make a real difference, leading a small and highly committed onsite team.

The Facilities Manager will work with the team of 5.

You will be responsible for establishing efficient and cost effective systems for managing and maintaining the physical facilities, security, health and safety, as well as implementing smooth day-to-day running of the premises. You will focus on developing simple but effective systems for the provision for well-planned support services to other internal staff in their organisation of events (e.g. lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings) and exhibitions.

You will coordinate your work with other teams, responsible for the commercial lettings activity, to ensure the necessary facilities support is provided

This is a fixed term, interim appointment for six months. It is subject to successful completion of a six-week probationary period. The salary range for this post is £45,000-£50,000 per annum, pro-rata for 6 months, depending on experience and qualifications.


  • Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum, pro rata, plus bank holidays.
