Our client have a requirement for an experienced Helpdesk Administrator to join their busy team.  The role will be working for a real estate services team in the City of London, joining their successful, fast paced team you will be responsible for the following;

Key Responsibilities Helpdesk

  • Answer all calls through the helpdesk in a timely and efficient manner and categorize each job request in terms of urgency
  • Ensure that all calls are recorded
  • Raise Purchase orders  for the appropriate works to be carried out liaising with appropriate contractors from established database and dispatching them to the relevant sites and ensuring a timely and effective service is provided
  • Constantly follow up on maintenance progress and update the relevant site accordingly
  • Ensure that works to be carried out are in line with expenditure control and seek approval for works that are in excess of the agreed limits


  • Approval and validation of invoices and seeking approval for exceeded costs where necessary
  • Dealing with and responding to incoming letters from landlords
  • To run reports as appropriate on the system
  • Place orders for maintenance equipment and stationary with contractors and suppliers
  • Maintain and file accurate property information, update and distribute manuals and health and safety information
  • Provide general office administration support to the property department including filing and scanning
  • Any other ad hoc duties


  • You will need experience within a Facilities Helpdesk environment
  • Ability to work to deadlines, and excellent organisational skills
  • Experience within a customer facing role using various IT and telephone systems
  • You will be confident in liaising via the telephone with excellent communication skills
